Soap with skin loving Calendula and Nettles, right from my garden!
Contains coconut oil, sustainable palm oil, olive oil, nettle leaves, lemongrass essential oil, sodium lactate, and calendula petals.
This is the very first cold process soap I ever made! I was so anxious about using lye, I poured it into my water and stepped away. Of course without stirring, I had an undissolved lye blob. Undeterred, I added it to my oils. As you can imagine, the next day I had a separated, oily mess. (At least it wouldn't be lye-heavy!)
So I tossed it into the crockpot, and added a little water. Shortly thereafter, it started to look like a big pot of snot! So I added more calendula petals into the batter, poured it into a loaf mold, decorated the top, and wished it good luck.
Six weeks later, I have a very soft but VERY lovely skin nourishing bar of soap!
These are unique bars, and no two bars will look the same. Product will ship from the same batch and loaf as the photos.
